The Forbidden Voyage

Feature documentary developed in coproduction with IMAGINADA FILMS (Argentina)

Director: David Rubio

“If you return home, you´re a dead man,” someone told him. Aristides escaped from Argentina to Ecuador, where he became the “playwright of exile.” 50 years later, he makes the opposite voyage. His dramatic texts metaphorize the landscape, as we try to understand how Latin America has changed since the 70s.

PRODUCTION: Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Chile
